Mercadona - Spanish chain supermarket, definitely cheapest with excellent fish stall and fresh fruit & veg. Organic meat. Own brand products "Hacienda" and "Bosque Verde" are very good value. location is just out of Moraira along the Benitachell Rd.

Pepe Le Sal- International supermarkets with lots of Uk and European brands. Great pre prepared foods, like Paella, meat with sauces etc. Similar to Waitrose. Excellent quality meat but not so good for fish. There are 3 in Moraira. Along the main vineyard rd (nr the Fish roundabout) along the Moraira Calpe rd and a small one , right in the centre of Moraira village.

Mas y Mas- Also stocks lots of international brands. 2 in Moraira, one along the vineyard rd and the other on the Moraira -Calpe rd.

Open COR - Owned by Corte Ingles this convenience supermarkets opens 18 hours per day , every day of the year. Shuts around 1am . Excellent for papers, drinks, bakery etc. Not much choice of fresh foods but enough to get you by for a day or two. Situated in Moraira town centre , almost opposite the petrol station. It has a blue and red sign.

SHOPPING CENTRES- Brand new Marina centre opened in Ondarra early 2008. Excellent for household and clothing etc. It has a C & A, Casa, Zara, Mango, Celio, Eroski,  etc plus quite a few individual shops (especially good for shoes) which are tasteful and reasonably priced. Also has a 8 screen cinema and a bowling alley. Located just off the AP7 at the Denia exit. Its a 20-25 minute drive from Moraira. OPEN ALL DAY except Sundays

Moraira Village shops- Lovely selection of boutiques, hairdressers, shoe shops, household and gift shops. Designer to cheap & cheerful.  Not a chain shop in sight! Parking is not a problem except on market day and at peak times.Shops do close for siesta from 1. 30pm to 4.30pm  Parking is within the BLUE boundary lines . A small fee is charged(pay & display)  except during siesta. If full, or if you don't want to pay, there is FREE PARKING  very close, near to the sports ground and funfair.

Don't forget Moraira's Friday market. Famous for  fruit & veg, flowers, towels , bedspreads, tablecloths, shoes, slippers, swimwear , Spanish dresses & shoes for the kids.

LADIES FASHION- Recently opened Mundo bello is worth a look. They have some vry nice & different designs, not too expensive,  like Adini, Charli, Oska, Paz Toras and Evalinka. Church Square Moraira centre

WHITE WINE- We recommend you try the Rueda Verdejo. There are lots of makes of this lovely dry white wine, so just look for the RUEDA label on the back of the bottle.
