Casa Mellini is a
new, modern, luxurious villa, built to exceptionally high standards.
The design is just perfect for family holidays. Open plan, light and
airy, it is completely air conditioned and wonderfully comfortable.
Situated in the Portet area of Moraira, it is within walking
distance of the fabulous Portet beach and its famous
bar/restaurants. It has lovely open views towards the Portet
peninsula.
The kitchen, dining area and lounge open onto a lovely naya and pool
terrace. To the right of the pool is an outside shower & BBQ area
complete with fridge and sink. Parents can really keep an eye on the
children here as the pool is just in front of the naya/lounge. The
lounge itself is has TV with surround sound DVD/CD player. There are
a good choice of English channels including BBC1, ITV, and Sky
sports and films. The furnishings are of a very high standard to
enhance the quality of the villa.
The master bedroom has a Queen size bed and beautifully appointed en
suite bathroom. It has French doors openly directly onto the pool
terrace. The other bedrooms are twin bedded and there is a family
shower room in between. NEW from SEPT 2008 Luxury studio apartment
with queen size double bed.
The gardens have been professionally designed and planted with
mature Mediterranean trees and shrubs. There are a few steps up to
the villa entrance, then everything is on the one level (except the
apartment with is under the main house). There is a car port &
electric gate.
10 day villa holiday are sometimes available at this or at my other
villas.
Adsl (wired) is available at extra cost of 40 euros per stay. We
have introduced this charge as some people are unable to connect and
for one reason or another cannot get on-line without technical
assistance. The 40 euros is to pay the call out for the technical
support person. If however you manage, as many do to get online
without the call out, you will not have to pay this charge.

I would like to place on record just how impressed we were wth Casa
Mellini - absolutely stunning in every way. We have spent many years
going to Menorca and last year tried Mallorca for a change - what a
disappointment. Moraira however is a real find - more good
restaurants than you could possibly get round and most extremely
good value. I was also taken with the cleanliness of the town - an
army of street cleaners seemed to descend early every morning -

We have now returned back to a wet and cooler England after our most
wonderful two weeks in Mellini Villa. Can we all just say what a
really lovely place this is and how much we enjoyed our stay. There
is always a danger that web sites look better than the real thing
only on this occasion it was not true. It really is a luxury villa
and the area was very quiet and peaceful which suited us perfectly.
It was little touches like the provision of beach deck chairs and
parasol, along with a toy box for the children which were much
appreciated. Also the availability of internet access was a real
bonus and also English TV, especially whilst the Olympics were on it
was nice to sometimes come into the cool villa from the hot sun.
Although myself and husband had visited Moraira for a day a few
years ago which gave us the idea of coming to this area, the other
family members had not and they thoroughly enjoyed the beach and
lovely restaurants in the town. It is certainly somewhere we will
come back to in future years. Also Paulette was very helpful with a
few minor details as was Gary on the phone when I called. Many
thanks again for everything, it was a special holiday we shall all
treasure and would be grateful if you would pass on our comments to
the owner of the villa.
